Times Square Bomb Scare (cont.)
The New York Times reported on heightened anxiety near Times Square in the wake of a manhole fire two days after – and mere blocks from the site of – an attempted car bombing.
Do you ever worry about terrorist attacks? Or do you generally feel safe?
I wasn't scared of terrorist attacks before, but now I think another one might happen. I think the president needs to step up and make sure they don't come back over to the United States. I know they are really searching te airports now, but they need to do more for our safty.

ReplyDeleteThings like this could happen anywhere but the fact that it happened in New York,Times square ment that the bomber was trying to kill a lot of people. i think that security should have already been increased, for example more cameras, a lot more awareness and people watching for things like this. i do agree with how quickly they found him, most people that try stuuf like this do not get caught.
ReplyDeleteI do worry about terrorist attacks beacause of how many people have died because of them. I do feel generally safe because i know that there are people who are keeping a good eye on everything now.

ReplyDeletei generally feel safe when it comes to terrorist attacks. Thats not something you can worry constantly about. Life goes on and you just have to let the people in charge take care of it.
ReplyDeleteI always think about terroist attacks after 9/11 because it could happen at any time and at the least time expected. Many people from other countries don't like our country and they want to find a way to destroy us. They proved that on 9/11 it is possible for it to happen. With all the security we have it is still easy for terrorists to do something to destroy our country any way they can. If i lived in New York City i would be more scared living there then where i do now because people are constantly doing things in that city to hurt people. I generally feel safe where im at.
