Does it change your views of offshore drilling or oil consuption? Explain.

i believe that the oil spill will change the eco system in the whole world for a long time and will continue to kill our eco system untill something is done
ReplyDeleteI think this disaster will turn out to be pretty bad but not as bad as what people are making it seem. I think it will impact the gulf because it already has there is alot of oil in it. It will impact somewhat of the wildlife but they already burned some of it of the top of the water but some of the particles did travel to the bottom. It does change my opinion on offshore drilling because it is hurting many things but it would be to hard to change the way we have been doing it.
ReplyDeleteThe oil spill is a disaster think of how much fish and other wildlife it will kill. Fisherman need fish to pay for their families meals and everything else.
ReplyDeletei think the oil rig blowing up and the oil flowing into the ocean is ridiculous because all of the all the failures. the oil rig should have been secured and safe. Even if the chance was extremely low for the failures to happen, they shold have had a back up plan to stop the oil from leaking out. Now our generation is gonna have to deal with the consequences of millions of gallons of oil that needs cleaned up, many prices wil rise setting our economy even lower.
ReplyDeleteIts a bad disaster but i think it could have been avioded with better planning. It's going to impact alot of things, obviousley the widlife will be affected and this is going to damage alot of jobs for fishing.People who live around there made ther livley hood on fishing. And this could screw are economy. I still think we should drill off shore infact i think we should drill more but they need to plan better for things like this.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts on this disaster is that it is very unfortunate and it something needs to be done fast to fix it. It will impact the Gulf of Mexico by hitting the coastline. It is also killing wildlife. The oil hit the Freemason Island which is a bird sanctuary. Depending on the wind and the current speed more areas on the coastline will be hit. Through time it is likely that the currents will spread the oceean to the Atlantic Ocean. Once the oil hits the land it is likely that it will destroy the nation's most delicate ecosystems and wetlands home of crabs, pelicans and fragile grasses. The spill threatens fish and anything that eat off of Plankton that floats on the gulf water. Turtles are in danger also because they are likely to mistake the oil for food and they will digest it and it will kill them. There are jobs being lost because of fishers being idled to fishing. It is also going to make seafood harder to get and the price of it go up.
ReplyDeleteThe disaster is pretty bad right now for BP and the Gulf of Mexico and wherever else the oil has spread to. The impact is pretty bad for the Gulf of Mexico. The wildlife will probably soon die because of the oil. It could wipe out the shrimp, and for some people that would be the end of the world. The US economy will suffer because gas prices will soon be going up. I think it changes the views of offshore drilling because if we ever have another disaster like this one, we will be going through the same thing next time.
ReplyDelete2). This will impact the gulf of Mexico and the wildlife in a lot of ways. The oil is spreading towards the United States and small lakes and the ocean. Fish have proably died or will be dying soon. Fisher men will be losing a lot of money if the oil spreads more.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts on this disater are that its a horrible things to happen. I hope that it does not affect much of the sea life in the the gulf.
