What do you think about texting in general? Why has texting become so popular? Has it replaced the use of calling people as your major form of communication? Some say that texting while driving should have as much as a punishment as drunk driving...do you agree?

well yes texting while drink is not a good thing, if you get caught you should get finds. when you are texting while you are driving you are not paying attention to the road and others around you. i think alot more people now adays text instead of calling them. it is way quicker and you don't have to hold the phone to your ear the whole time. i like texting it is way easier but i dont think you should do it while driving.
ReplyDeletei like texting and i dont see aything wrong about it. some older people are the ones who dont like it because they were not growing up with it like we are they are the ones causing the problems about it. texting has became so popular because it is easier to text then to keep calling someone and it cost less. texting has become our main form of communication over calling people because it is easier and more conveenient. i do not agree that texting while driving should get as much punishment as drunk driving because if you are drunk you have more of a risk to kill someone then if you are just texting.
ReplyDeleteI think texting is a good thing. It has become so popular because you dont have to talk on the phone, and it doesnt take as much service to send a text. I think with the younger people it has replaced calling big time.

I love texting. texting has become so popular because of cell phones. Also because of the new technology. I do think it kinda replaced calling. i think texting while driving should not be treated the same way as drunk driving.
ReplyDeleteTexting has become popular because it is easier for peolpe to text each other than call, texting doesn't replace calling. i still call my mom because its faster for me to call her. I think texting while driving should be ilegal because, you can still kill people and most of all you are putting yourself at risk for an accident.
ReplyDeleteI am a big texter myself but texting has overwhelmed talking and maybe not for the better. It has become so popular is because it is almost instint and it is fast. Texting while driving should have a very harsh punishment such as loss of texting and a big fine that will show people how serious the matter really is.
ReplyDeleteI think that texting is a grate way of communcating with friends. It has become so popular because it is a new way of communaction with firends that you do not get to see every day. it has not fully taken over calling people some people don't have texting. Yes because you are not suppoed to be texting while driving in the car. it is aginst the law.
